Strawberries and fresh cream mask

Be it winter or summer, acne seems to stick around irrespective of the season. This mask with strawberry will help to reduce acne, said Kochhar. All you have to do is take strawberry puree then mix it with fresh cream if you have dry skin. Those with oily skin can mix it with yogurt instead. The last step is to add a tablespoon of honey to it. Once ready, apply it all over your face, leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. If you want to use it again, deep freeze and store the mask.

Winter also means sun bathing for long. While you’ll enjoy the warmth during sun bathing, you’ll also end up with tanned skin. Try this face mask to get rid of the tan and to lighten pigmentation marks on your skin. Get some strawberries, mix them and add a tablespoon of lime juice to it. Apply it all over your face and leave it for 15 minutes then remove it properly by using warm water.

You would love to include strawberry face masks in your winter skin care, but Kochhar said that some people might be allergic to strawberries. So, it is better to perform a skin patch test before proceeding with the application of any of the DIY strawberry face masks.
