The human libido is highly erratic and might take a dip for a variety of reasons. However, if your $ex drive is strong, why can’t you hit an orgasm? Well, many women find it difficult to experience an orgasm. But it might only take a little patience, kindness, and understanding of how to activate the sweet spots. Try improving your sense of pleasure and increasing your chance to orgasm by using lube during $ex if dryness is a turn off.
Health Shots spoke to Dr Mahua Bhattacharya, Consultant Gynaecology, Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, Kolkata, to find out how and why lube can help with $exual pleasure.
What is lube?
Dr Bhattacharya says, “Lubricant, also known as lube, is a liquid or gel used to avoid unwanted friction during $ex.” It is a substance that helps reduce friction between surfaces in mutual contact, which ultimately reduces the heat generated when the surfaces move and make things move more smoothly. People use lubes to make $ex more pleasurable.
Why should you use lubes?
Insufficient lubrication frequently causes pain during $ex, which can even make arousal difficult. Arousal is important to get an orgasm! Lube can be very beneficial if painful $ex and a lack of arousal are issues. But do you avoid lubricants because of certain stigmas attached to them?

Well, lubricants aid women in avoiding all forms of dryness, redness, and irritation. They provide cut protection and make penetration even easier. Now, you would think that this is a small concern, but even a tiny cut or tear in your genital region can cause excruciating pain! After all, the area is quite delicate. But lube will help you avoid it.
Lube also lowers the possibility of contracting $exually transmitted infections (STIs). Additionally, it encourages more $exual experimentation, which is good news. In fact, putting a drop inside a condom can help it fit better and prevent condoms from breaking. According to a study from The Journal of $exual Medicine, using lubricants can help you have a satisfying and enjoyable $exual experience.
Can they help improve $ex life and be a key to better orgasm?
Dr Bhattacharya says, “Your intimate life can be greatly enhanced by lubrication. Since most lubes aim to reduce friction and increase comfort and pleasure, there are many varieties, and choosing what works for you is a very personal preference. Utilizing a liquid or jellied personal lubricant that is water soluble can boost $exual enjoyment and reduce discomfort for women who experience vaginal dryness.”
So, use lubes and have fun between the sheets to make your $ex life joyful, create more $exual pleasure, and create an easier route to orgasm!
