  1. Clarifying shampoo
  2. Everyday shampoo
  3. Volumizing shampoo
  4. Oily hair shampoo
  5. Normal hair shampoo
  6. Dry, damaged hair shampoo
  7. Coloured hair shampoo
  8. 2-in-1 shampoo

Straight hair type: Women with straight hair usually fight rapid greasing on a daily basis, hence they wash their hair more often compelling the hair to lose their shine.

Recommended products: Look for volumizing shampoos and conditioners, these shampoos usually do not deposit much conditioning quat, oils or silicones on the hair and also includes ‘special ingredients’ that adds friction to the roots and build volume.

Wavy hair type: The main and the biggest problem women with wavy hair go through is ‘frizz’. Wavy hair also imparts sheen, more than curly hair, but less than straight hair.

Recommended products: Look for shampoo types designed to hydrate and moisturize your roots and hair, using a moisturizing shampoo and moisturizing hair mask (once a week) will help to lock in hydration and reduce frizz.

Curly hair type: Frizziness is a constant battle for these curly warriors, unfortunately! The only key is to provide moisture.

Recommended products: Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, you can also look out for shampoos specialised for curly hair, you may also want to experiment for mousse, oil etc.

Coily or Kinky hair: Your dense, springy coils are either wiry or fine, and have a circumference of a crochet needle. Some of the top concerns are maintaining moisture, avoiding tangles and counteracting shrinkage.

Recommended products: Moisturizing shampoo is the only escape for curly hair type, start with a moisturizing shampoo and a heavy moisturizing conditioner. You should also use a moisturizing mask, as often as every time you wash your hair.
